Care & Repurposing

Candle Care:

  • Trim candle before each use to 1/4” (5mm) keeping wax free of charred bits.
  • Burn candle for at least 2 hours on the first use. Allowing the wax to melt to the edge of the glass to prevent tunneling.
  • Avoid burning candle for more than 4 hours
  • Always burn with caution - never leave unattended, place on a stable surface away from flammable objects and keep out of reach from children & pets. 
  • Store unlit candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight 

Repurposing Vessel:

After you have enjoyed the candles glow, it’s time to prepare the vessel for a new purpose. 

How to remove the wax:

  • Make sure the wax has cooled and the vessel is at room temperature before starting the process.
  • Take a small bowl of water heated to 140°F and pour the water into the vessel filling it halfway.
  • Wait a few minutes to allow the wax time to soften
  • Remove the wax and dispose of it in the trash.
  • Wash and dry the inside of the vessel

Additionally:

  • Do not fill with freezing water below 32°F
  • Dishwasher Safe, but Hand-Wash is recommended
  • Colored vessels may fade with time and after multiple washes

"I wanted to create a candle that calmed the mind and home so that creativity could flourish. It was important to me that Frankincense was incorporated into this scent for all its positive benefits, but was a challenge as it can smell holiday and overpowering. After months in the making, we finally created the right blend of scents to make this a soft, calming and year round scent. I received the Maris candle as a gift and loved the candle so much, I bought a few more of the Maris scent along with the Arlow and Willow candles to gift others. Willow is by far my favorite scent Auden Lueur has put out. It is a light scent but full-bodied with different layers of relaxing, yet stimulating aromas. This candle gets lit every time I am curled up with a good book and a fuzzy blanket. I just ordered a second one as my current is about 2/3 of the way gone and plan to order Willow until they stop selling the scent. Never thought a $52 candle would be within my rotation of favorite home decor items but MaCenna really knows what she is doing with these!
